Treetops Boarding Kennels

We got our rescue dog from Treetrops and found them to have done their best for our poor abandoned dog. They take them to the vet and ensure they are well looked after including having walks. Treetops is a lovely place full of caring, knowledgeable people

We left our 6 month old dog at Treetops for one week whilst on holiday in Aug 08 and would never send her there again! Despite being one of the most expensive kennels in Guildford, they do not walk the dogs at all and our puppy came out with fleas, diarrhoea and a new habit of chasing shadows. due to the boredom in the kennels. They also managed to lose her dog bed we left and didn't return her large bag of top quality food we left for her. Hopefully the service will improve in the future.

We had our Bichon Frise groomed here and they did a great job. Much better standards and more thourough than other local groomers that charge a lot more.

Would never board a dog here as they don't walk them and the staff have had charisma bypasses, but was really angry to hear that they don't have a vet check over their rescue dogs. A friend rehomed a dog who'd been at Treetops for two weeks. His mouth was raw with ulcers and he couldn't eat. This could easily have been treated with antibiotics and the staff could have soothed the mouth by bathing it, but they did nothing. They are paid for boarding animals and receive a grant from the council, yet unlike other rescue centres they don't get dogs vet checked before rehoming. This is cruel and irresponsible. However, don't let it stop you from adopting a dog from them, it will need you more than ever.
