Thrower Signs can supply traditional sign writing, computer created vinyl lettering digital printing to premises, vehicles and glass. We can make signs in wood, metal or plastic as well as offering traditional finishes such as gold leaf gilding. We can help design your signage or realise your own plans. Thrower Signs is a family run company with a pedigree of fine craftsmanship that dates back over 40 years.
Whilst computer aided technology assists, speeds up and adds great variety to the sign makers palette, the age of traditional sign writing is not dead. We are honoured to supply, update and add headings and crests to a wide variety of honours boards at Clubs, Schools, Colleges and Institutions. We can supply digital printing, our Edge printer heat applies colours to vinyl. Photographs, digitally created logo`s and clip art pictures can be easily reproduced at virtually any size. A range of process colour and spot colours linked to Pantone palettes can create a plethora of shades. Contour cutting enables removal of backgrounds and produces interesting stickers. 3D and chrome effect fonts are available from stock. Badges and labels can be produced with individual names, numbers or details. Sign faces can be made with the text printed rather than cut and applied. All printing can be over-coated with clear abrasion and U.V. guard. Images from brochures or previously hand painted can be scanned and reproduced. This is an ideal way of creating regulation and custom Health and Safety signage. Reflective films, Luminescent and other Speciality films can be used such as Brushed Aluminium, Refractive and Metallics. Ultra-Destructible materials can be used for labelling items which need protection. Reverse printing to clear film enables images to be applied to glass. Large format printing for fascia`s, vehicles and banners can be supplied.

We supply and apply text to all manner of vehicles using traditional brush techniques, Vinyl Graphics and Digitally Printed images to suit the application. We have sign written cars, vans, lorries and trailers of every shape and size. Diggers, cranes, sweepers, tankers, trains, planes, motorbikes, models, buses, coaches, racing cars, boats of every description and all sorts of preserved vehicles including a WW2 dukw. Vehicle wrapping is currently in vogue and digital printing to perforated film allows even the window space to be covered whilst allowing clear vision from inside out. We design and complete fascia panels for shops, stores or displays, we can complete window graphics as well as hanging designs for your business as well as pavement signs and illuminations.

Other Services:

We supply estate agency signs including Flag Boards, V. Boards and Commercial Property signage. Usual materials are corrugated plastic panels, tempered boards or light aluminium panels. Softwood frames, posts and edges are usually matt black. We can supply builder's site boards that are made to order for every kind of Contractor and Site, including Safety Signs, Hoardings etc. Banners for display purposes are available in Heavy Duty PVC. A range of display accessories, posts, frames and clips can be ordered to aid fitting requirements.
