Brief business description

TGI Fridays is a large American chain of restaurants with predictably huge portions of American food, energetic waiting staff and a 'bar and grill' interior - great fun for kids.

  • 1 Avoid unless you're a Mojito junky!!!

The only reason I go to TGI Guildford at least once a year is their Mojito and not the deep fried/over cooked tasteless junk they serve.

  • 4 tgi fridays

We have been several times to TGI Fridays in a group of 10 as it's a fun place to go with a big group and the age range from small child to mid life crisis! There are lots of things to look at and the servers are usually very entertaining and deserve the tip at the end of our large meal! We often go for birthdays and it's always very entertaining to have the birthday song sang by all the servers much to the embarrassment of an adult or amusement of a child!

  • 4 Good for kids and teenagers

I feel people's comments are rather ridiculous, it serves what it looks like from outside: American food. The portions are good, and I've never been disappointed with it or the staff. They have a surprising nice mix of cocktails alcoholic and non alcoholic and you can get free refills on coke, sprite, fanta, etc as well as getting coke in a bottle. My steak was always nice as well as my burgers and the fries were nice enough. The ribs can be a little disappointing though since it seems like the meat wasn’t cooked along with the sauce so it felt a little weird. Taste the milkshakes because they are great (except for Oreo Cookies) Great for teenagers and families

  • 1 Awful and thats being polite.

Have rated this 1 star just for being there poss.not worth that!We had a meal(if you can call it that) in here and it was the worst food i have ever been served the steak was worse than boot leather and burger well not sure what that was made of,it was late and really no were else to go on the night we went but never again. If you like this sort of food go to Frankie and Bennys in the same building as the new Travel Lodge (the old Grays garage)the foods better service about the same average.

  • 2 The choice is yours

Worthwhile if you have kids, or like American food. Not especially appealing though, have only been in one time. It was decent enough.
