• Decent thai food and a good view

  Alright alright alright. It's not the cheapest place to eat in Guildford. And it's always busy. And they insist on having two sittings on busy night. And (etc etc etc).BUT. The food is pretty good. The service is very prompt. The surroundings are nice. The view is amazing. Haven't had a bad time here in 6 or 7 visits.If you can get a terrace seat for dinner (or even just some drinks before) in the Summer, what an experience. The last time we came here we didn't even eat. My friend had just been promoted so three of us got through 2x bottles of champagne and some cocktails sat on the terrace. Expensive, but what a lovely evening.NOTE: The Rumwong at the top end of the High Street is owned by the same people and offers a very similar menu. If you're just coming for the food and not the view you might find the Rumwong just as good.Enjoy.

• great location !!

  This is a real find! One of my favourite restaurants in the whole world!Its very trendy, great food and in an amazing location. It doesn't sound great being on top of a mutli storey carpark, but trust me, the views are spectacular of the castle and the rest of Guildford.There is a seating area at the front, or you can stand outside weather permitting. They have a great cocktail menu if you fancy making an evening of it, rather than just going for a meal.The food is gorgeous, I really recommend the Phad Thai noodles and the Chicken Massaman curry (excuse spellings!). They are both to die for! I have been with groups and just a couple of people and would recommend it as an excellent place for celebrating birthdays and such.

• Great location

  Great location for a restaurant, must be fantastic on a summers evening. Sadly the food is not good, the service is unfriendly and to top it off it is expensive. However go just for the venue.
