• Good food, expensive drinks

  Water Sky is a Chineese restaurant on a different concept than I have ever eaten by before. Especially as other reviewers have said it is an east-as-much-as-you-like concept, but where the food is cooked to order and brought to your table. You just tell them what you want and how much you’d like. They do ask you not to over order, as this is just wasteful. Our table of four did manage to do a good job on our five course meal though. The food is actually of a high quality and the duck pancakes were exceptionally good. Though as other reviewers say, although the set menu price of 14.95 is very good, the cost of the drinks is very expensive and a few beers can mean the drinks bill is much more than the food bill!

• Good quality Chinese

  This Chinese restaurant works on the Eat As Much As You Like principle, currently for £14.95 I think. Unlike some restaurants of this type, however, it is not a buffet meal, but you order exactly what you want from an extensive menu. Starters, followed by soup, crispy duck, and then mains - there are plenty to choose from and you can have as many as you want. They will only bring a small quantity of each, but you can ask for more at any time. The food is of very good quality, the staff are attentive, the restaurant is attractive and clean. Children are half price. You can, however, be caught out by the prices of drinks and desserts, which are not included in the base price.
