  • 4 Spacious, clean and light

    A converted malthouse, this café is the huge and spacious entrance of this building, expertly converted to be the home of the Harvest evangelical church. The food range is limited but reasonably priced and presented, and the coffee is fine.Downsides? The 'bistro-style' chairs are appallingly uncomfortable - but there are some leather chairs and sofas if you're lucky (and can get out of them!). The bookshop, mentioned by another reviewer is definitely Christian with a capital C ... not much for this liberal heretic, I'm afraid. Still, it's a good place, so hence 4 stars.
