• A poor show

  Food is generally good here - and lunch is a good price; but our last meal found a "washed" caterpillar" in the salad!! When we told the waiter, he was very kind and apologised, and gave us the one meal for free. I decided to email the manager/owner and told him how upset we all were; he first apologised and then told me that he was upset with my email. Now was he right to get upset with me? Should he not have apologised and offered me to return to the restaurant for a free meal? What he did offer was a tour around his kitchens to show how clean they are. I don't doubt his cleanliness - its the scrutiny of the salads that concern me - after all the caterpillar got through!

• Fresh fish, delicious food

  We love this restaurant. Although fairly new, it has quickly become one of our favourite places to eat, having followed the owner from his previous restaurants. The extensive fish menu is what draws us in - the only problem is deciding what to choose. There is something for everyone (even if you don't like fish!) and the staff could not be more attentive. The atmosphere is great, and prices reasonable for what you get. We have never had lunch here, but the lunch menu appears good and the prices seem good value too. It was disappointing to read the other review of this restaurant. We have never had anything other than a fantastic meal here and would not let a caterpillar put us off going again!
